Aprašymas
The Latvian Ornithological Society (LOB), artist Marta Gotlība, and designer Anna Lauva have created gift-wrapping paper made from recycled paper. The paper features over 20 bird species commonly observed in Latvia’s nature.
This unique wrapping paper serves as an aesthetic and meaningful environmental education tool while supporting the research and protection of Latvia’s bird species. The design includes illustrations of birds frequently seen at feeders—30 illustrations representing 23 species, such as tits, sparrows, and woodpeckers—making the paper both informative and visually appealing.
The paper is printed on high-quality Amber Graphic 70 g/m² paper, highlighting fine details and bringing the illustrations to life. Instead of using specially purchased materials, the paper is made from recycled stock, reducing waste.
This gift-wrapping paper, which can also be used for other purposes, such as covering books, is an excellent way to combine gift wrapping with a love for nature while supporting the work of the Latvian Ornithological Society.
